They need systems that adapt and components that connect reliably. We took down the requirements and had the strip and panel lighting for this project approved. The request was to have all the striplighting systems ready for installation. Each section was cut-to-length and arrived with factory- soldered tails. powerfeeds from one end. This eliminated any on-site problems with cutting or installation. And the mounting channels were manufactured in two-metre sections that connect seamlessly. Every measurement was deliberate and the result is seamless coverage without awkward gaps.
Superlight LEDs holds superior colour-changing technology. They easily shift between colours and brightness. And they are perfect for both interior and exterior applications. Entertainment venues aren’t the only spaces that can benefit from coloured illumination. Superlight has worked on a number of RGBW projects, like: • Tunnel Hill Mushrooms showcases RGBW projector lighting within underground tunnels • GPO Restaurant integrates Turbostrip for coloured ambience • BMW vehicle showcase uses branded colours to draw attention
Fun Planet in Shepparton, Melbourne, runs a busy entertainment facility. Visitors pack the space during peak hours. Drinks get knocked over, and food finds its way onto unexpected surfaces. Foot traffic is high, and things get dropped. The activity-based facility is colourful, bright and always moving. With multiple zones operating simultaneously, the space handles hundreds of people daily. The environment demands lighting that can keep up with the pace. To suit the high-energy space, the contractors needed colour-changing
lighting. It needed to be reliable, consistent and easy to use.
More importantly, the fixtures needed to be made to specification to fit the space. Power access points varied throughout the facility. The lighting had to work around existing entertainment equipment. The contractors wanted everything ready to install straight from the box. So the products needed to be delivered in kit form, for quick and easy installation. This would reduce downtime during the upgrade. It would also minimise disruption to normal operations.
