We identified the types of lighting required in each zone. Then, supplied data sheets and technical drawings for each style of luminaire. The Commons wanted to transform a South Yarra building into their largest co-working space. Superlight was engaged to supply linear, downlights and surface-mount luminaires for this project. There were multiple rooms and requirements to adhere to, including: • Reception space for checking in visitors and managing the space • Open plan co-working spaces lined with computers and desks • Meeting and break-out rooms for intense focus or presentations • Private office rooms that can host small working teams that need flexible lighting

Siren Design Group was the interior design agency on the Melbourne project. They designed from the philosophy: “A place for creativity, innovation and community ... the creation of a vibrant community at its best.” And the lighting plan was developed with productivity and well-being in mind. Research demonstrates that lighting directly influences workplace wellbeing. LumaStream’s 2010 study references that LED lighting improves moods and brings an 8.3% improvement to tasks. It proves that quality lighting plays a big part in productive work environments.

Linear profiles were supplied with suspension kits. And the recessed and surface-mount downlights were sent in separate deliveries.
