Our approach Precision-cut LED strips stay out of sight Our team recommended the iFlex480 flexible LED backlighting system. This flexible system gives steady indirect illumination and stays invisible once installed. The iFlex was cut to match the island’s exact size. The ultra-thin 3mm profile slips neatly beneath the stone seams. We added a controller to give the homeowners full control. They can switch from bright task illumination to softer ambient lighting. From bright lighting for cooking to
lower levels for a calm dinner, it’s in their control. We supplied drivers with reliable power to keep the system running for years.
Flexible LED backlighting can be used to create really interesting effects. The homeowners at this Myrtle Street home had a stunning marble kitchen island. They wanted it to glow with warm, inviting light. The LEDs needed to show off the stone’s natural beauty. But finding the right lighting solution was tricky.
They needed a colour temperature- controlled LED system to create the right mood. The lighting also had to stay completely hidden. Any visible hardware would harm the island’s clean look.
